PICKUP-PROGRAMME
As long as the Court is not being used for an actual workshop, it will be free for PICK-UP-GAMES. However we will organize the PICK-UP Games with a PC Program (the-Ole-Büppel-ABC-Single-Player program, but without ranking or finals). When you arrive/register you will receive a spoke-card. You can throw this card into pick-up bowl and as long as it is in there you are part of the pick-up-shuffle. If you need a break, then you take your card out and can go take a nap/city tour.

WORKSHOPS AND SIDE-ACTIVITIES

We are open and encourage any kind of workshops held. If you are interested in a specific polo issue/workshop but feel you want to learn about it, instead of being the lecturer, please tell us.
We think of workshops/seminars as a place to work together on things rather than consuming a ready lecture. You don’t need to present a ready concept.
POOL:
→ We have a pool.

We will provide vegan food (breakfast/ dinner) for Friday and Saturday. Sunday there will be brunch until 2pm. The food will be included in the registration fee. There also will be a grill. There will be vegan grill-goods for free donations.

Workshops:

Well first of all, thank you all so far for your registrations and ideas for workshops you already wrote in the registration form. This is already awesome.

To get things organized and also to inspire you to attend or hold workshops we decided to already publish a list with Workshops offers, and desires.

As you can see that there is still a little gap between what people are offering and what people are wanting to attend.

As mentioned in the beginning post, we want this to be as self-organized as possible and we will only be offering a framework, and schedule. Also we want to see the workshops not so much as a lecture but as a seminar-like workshop.
I want to say: a workshop does not necessarily need a lecturer. If you want to train/learn/do things, we will make it happen, even if there is no “lecturer”.

Please note that at this point this table does not mean that anything of this will happen, nor that anybody should feel obliged having to do anything. And the otter way around, anybody is free to attend any workshop even though your name is not on the list yet.

Hey Richie and everyone. Can i just say first: i love how this camp is organized so far, especially with the emphasis on workshops needs and wants.

One thing: the Solo Polo workshop i had in mind was more about all the things that make a solo polo session (or any training session or training plan) effective, and not so much about specific drills. So more: how to stay motivated, stretching routins, time allocation, what to aim for in terms of training goals, how to include what you learned in solo polo in regular play… stuff like that
If that is not what is interesting to the people we can shift focus on to specific drills, then i just don’t know if i’m going to be a good workshop facilitator and will need help with that.

cheers Olli
