Hello world.
650b has been gaining traction in the polo community and the fever is spreading to me. I currently ride a 52" 2017 Pake with 700c. I’m looking to downsize wheels to fit my 5’5" stature.
My question:
What bike frames/forks do the 650b rippers use?
I’ve seen anything from converted track bikes, the enforcer bd 650b, to custom (koncept, etc). There doesn’t seem to be an obvious go-to frame for 650b.
Please share the secret wisdom to get this wheel size more popular in the sport.

the only production frame that i’m aware of is the 650 enforcer. koncepts clear 650x30, but their bottom brackets are 7-10mm higher than a dedicated 650 bike. that is the only real difference. if i were you i’d go koncept and start with some 26" wheels. you can always go bigger if you really want.
also worth noting that the only tires available for 650b x 25-32 are gp5ks and schwalbe g1s both of which a $110/tire.
That’s untrue in EU at least .
Conti makes ultra sport 650 for 15/20€
Schwalbe makes g-one speed I just bought for 25€ yesterday
Also maxxis should have detonator as well
