Hello my loves,

no MXD no summer or so they say! Grab your calendars and your markers, block the 24th to 26th of July - the date is set and to be saved :)

Sub rules
-if a player drops out after the lottery, they need to be replaced by another player from the waitlist that gives equal or more lottery lifes
-if that is not possible, they need to be replaced by a berlin player
-if that is not possible, the team has free choice
-any change needs to approved by berlin bikepolo (here on Poloverse, in the telegram thread or contact Jules directly)

Format:
Same procedure as least year, miss Sofie? -
Same procedure as every year, James.
Friday and Saturday will be swiss rounds in groups.
every Team will play on Friday!
Sunday probably one or two more big rounds, then top32 and bottom16 Single Elim.

Payments will be open until 1st of April!

A few announcements before we open the registration tomorrow:
We had some issues with keeping our schedule last year because teams failed to show up for reffing and playing.
this year, we will be strict on the schedule. Not being ready for your game or missing your ref shift will be penalized.
There also were some issues with players working their way around the bike check.
this year, this kind of behavior will result in disqualification.

Quick Update!

I have started to add the lottery lifes for each team that will take part in the lottery in the first post. This way, you can all check if your own calculations align with ours :) If not, feel free to contact me so we can sort this out!

Heho, Alican and me looking for a Flinta player to join our Team. We came from Hamburg. Alican is a good B player and im a C player. We want to shoot goals but we want more a fun respectful gameplay. So to fail is ok and maybe makes also fun

Lets talk about money!

This year, we are unfortunately having a hard time finding sponsors because apparently everybody is broke, so we are broke as well. Please take this into consideration when chosing how much to pay on our sliding scale.
To make our planning easier and also to make the handling of the waiting list easier, we will set an early deadline for the payment - all payments must arrive until the 1st of April (not a joke!). If you are broke like we are and can not make it until then, this is not a reason for us to exclude anyone from the tournament! Please just contact us and we will find a solution, we just need to know what we can plan with.
The payments will be done via bank transfer like last year. If this presents an issue for your team for example because of national borders or some bullshit like that, please also don’t hesitate to contact us and we will provide you with a different way to pay :)
Any teams that have not paid or contacted us until the 1st of April will be out and the spots will be given to the waiting list.

Please fill out the helpers form ASAP! Latest until the lottery, so we know what we can plan with. Right know we have 12 Berlin helper teams but only 20 registered helpers, the math is not mathing…
