So… Since I promised you to show you mine, I kinda owe it to you… here comes the dirt machine!

“Growing up means not having to remind every sonofabitch of what he is”
Put it on my bike to keep in line with the 1st rule of Bikepolo… Which goes both ways, of course
here’s the author: Tonio Schachinger - Kremayr & Scheriau
suspiciously looks like you made a post just to post your bike
And yes it is very beautiful!!
yeah i can’t hide it haha, but one of the major reason that i miss LOBP is the bike thread, i wish that this happen here too
see i prefer this one than morgan because nothing can beat good cover art

He got thiccer (fork)legs than Morgan with a nice 100-140-100 cause I fucked up the notching…
This boy is not straight, neither in the front nor the back simply because I am no framebuilder but I just love him as he is.
He will get cleaned then some stickers put on, put in the garden to oxidize a little, stickers removed and 2K epoxy clearcoated…you’ll see
Parts.

Backstory if you’re interested
This is my 27th polobike. The last one was a stolen which took, let’s say a long time to be built and after just a couple of months I had it stolen 100m from the court in shitty shitty Ulm, while (free-) locked outside the building, while I was showering.
He will be my last though inshallah
A very interesting, albeit long read!
Pics didn’t load though…
Oh, wow! Now I see! A fesches Gerät, habedieehre!!
as nice as in real life
What size rear sprocket is that
That should be a 22t.

Self made 650b Columbus steel frame and fork
Has not seen a court atm but already pretty confident it’s my next best polo frame.

The bike is based on the first frame I have welded and weighs about 11 kilos with all the plastics.
The frame was made from a chopped-up cheapo soviet bicycle. I have intended to test the geometry (Think Enforcer, but shorter. TT: 490 Chainstays: 349. Comfy as heck, no overlap), build some tools, and understand the challenges. Was not expecting it to withstand 2+ years of abuse. The chainstays cracked eventually (cheers Indian Summer 2021), and were replaced by the squished seatstays from a donor BMX.
Unfortunately, I was not able to master my welding before the full-scale invasion have started. I have managed to make 3 rotor guards and a minivelo frame for a friend of mine. Donor bikes were bought and are now rotting in the workshop / were given away. The workshop has no electricity and stands too close to the border for my liking.
I hope the BFB Workshop will have a second season once we win.
Until then, we have to keep our morals high and support the army
