Laura, Kim and Anna won in Berlin
The 11th edition of Mallet Dolorosa took place in Berlin on the 25-26 May.
48 FLINTA (females, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender) players participated this year in the legendary tournament in Berlin.
Before the tournament, self-evaluation was made, based on which ABC groups were formed for the first game. After the first game, the program used new points and positions to shuffle and form new teams according to players’ performance in the last game. It was also possible to move between ABC groups.
On Saturday 5 rounds were played. Eliska got 15 points winning all the games, Lisa, Rita from Bern, Gitti and Laura got 12 points after the first day having 4 wins and 1 tie. 3 more rounds followed on Sunday morning after which Eliska, Lisa, and Laura got most points.
The top 24 players took part in an elimination with a reshuffle after every game.
In the First Semi-Final Lisa, Lina and Svenja lost to Laura, Kim and Christina with a score 3:4
Lisa scored two fast goals at the beginning, then Kim and Lisa exchanged two more goals making the score 3-1. Laura made a shot to Lina who was out but still in the goal, Kim scored a beautiful goal and equalized to 3-3 two minutes before the end of the game. On a golden goal, both teams had good opportunities with a few shots, but after Laura’s shot was saved by Lina, Christina scored a smart shot and brought the team to the finals.
In the second Semi Final Rita Petra Anna from GieĂźen won Eliska Agata Apostolos 1:0
Both teams did nice pressure but then Petra did a counterattack from her 3rd position and delivered a beautiful goal. Second part of time the teams fought very hard, Rita’s team played very good defense, just a few minutes before the end moving very fast and trying to get the ball from Eliska Rita crashed and unfortunately injured her wrist and couldn’t continue the game. Allison played as a sub for Rita and kept the score 1:0 till the end of the game.
Third place got Lisa, Lina and Svenja winning against Eliska, Agata and Apostolos with a score of 3:1
Lisa scored the first goal, after teams switched the sides Lisa scored again. Lisa’s team tried to be more defensive but Eliska scored to Lisa. Just after restart Lisa scored 3rd goal passing by Apostolos and Eliska.
In the Final Laura, Kim and Anna from GieĂźen vs Allison, Petra and Christina 3:2
Kim scored the first beautiful goal with a low angle, then she scored again stealing the ball from Allison and confronting Petra one-on-one. A few minutes later Allison scored the first goal for her team. 1 minute before the end Allison scored the 2nd goal making the score 2:2. On the golden goal Kim had several attempts to score but they were unlucky. Laura also got a few shots to the goal. Both teams were playing very carefully and finally Kim scored a goal securing her team the win.

Die 11. Ausgabe vom Mallet Dolorosa fand vom 25. bis 26. Mai in Berlin statt.
48 FLINTAs (Frauen, Lesben, Intersexuelle, Nicht-Binäre, Transgender und Agender) nahmen dieses Jahr an dem legendären Turnier in Berlin teil.
Vor dem Turnier wurde eine Selbstevaluation durchgeführt, anhand derer ABC-Gruppen für das erste Spiel gebildet wurden. Nach dem ersten Spiel nutzte das Programm die Punkte um neue Teams zumischen. Es war auch möglich, zwischen den ABC-Gruppen zu wechseln.
Am Samstag wurden 5 Runden gespielt. Eliska gewann alle Spiele und fĂĽhrte mit 15 Punkten die Tabelle an. Lisa, Rita aus Bern, Gitti und Laura holten 12 Punkte nach dem ersten Tag mit 4 Siegen und 1 Unentschieden. Am Sonntagmorgen folgten drei weitere Runden, nach denen Eliska, Lisa und Laura die meisten Punkte hatten.
Die Top24 nahmen an der Vorrunde an der folgenenden Elimination teil, wobei jedes Spiel immer neu gemischt wurde.
Im ersten Halbfinale verloren Lisa, Lina und Svenja gegen Laura, Kim und Christina mit 3:4
Lisa schoss zu Beginn zwei Tore. Später stand es dann 3:1. Laura schoss gegen Linas Rad, die im Tor tand, aber ab war. Kim erzielte ein wunderschönes Tor und glich zwei Minuten vor Ende zum 3-3 aus. Beim Golden Goal hatten beide Teams gute Chancen, aber nachdem Lauras Schuss von Lina pariert wurde, erzielte Christina einen klugen Smartshot und brachte ihr Team ins Finale.
Im zweiten Halbfinale siegten Rita, Petra und Anna aus GieĂźen gegen Eliska, Agata und Apostolos mit 1:0
Beide Teams übten Druck aus, doch Petra kam aus dem Tor, setzte zum Konter an und erzielte ein schönes Tor. In der zweiten Spielhälfte kämpften die Mannschaften sehr hart, Ritas Team spielte eine sehr gute Verteidigung. Rita stürzte und verletzte sich leider am Handgelenk und konnte dann das Spiel nicht fortsetzen. Allison spielte als Sub für Rita und hielt bis zum Ende des Spiels den Stand von 1:0
Das Spiel um Platz gewannen Lisa, Lina und Svenja gegen Eliska, Agata und Apostolos mit 3:1
Lisa erzielte das erste Tor. Nachdem die Mannschaften die Seiten gewechselt hatten, erzielte sie erneut ein Tor. Zügig erzielte Lisa durch einen abgefangenen Pass von Apostolos und Eliska das dritte Tor. Im Finale standen Laura, Kim und Anna aus Gießen gegen. Allison, Petra und Christina. Kim erzielte das erste Tor aus einem flachen Winkel, dann punktete sie erneut, indem sie Allison den Ball stahl und Petra eins gegen eins konfrontierte. Wenige Minuten später erzielte Allison das erste Tor für ihr Team. Eine Minute vor Schluss erzielte Allison das zweite Tor zum 2:2. Beim Golden Goal hatte Kim mehrere Versuche, ein Tor zu erzielen. Auch Laura hatte einige Chancen. Beide Mannschaften spielten sehr vorsichtig und schließlich schoss Kim ein Tor und schoss ihr Team somit zum Titel.

Es gab tolle Preise von Iriedaily, MaxPower, taz und VeloPeaches. Romana kĂĽmmerte sich um Siebdruck, bei dem das Logo auf Tshirts gedruckt wurde. Zudem gab es Poster. Christina, die erst seit einem Jahr Bikepolo spielt konnte nach dem Rising Stars zum zweiten Mal das Podium erreichen.
Der Sonntag wurde wie gewohnt von DownOver auf Youtube gestreamt und kann nachgeschaut werden.
