Hello hello et buongiorno!

On a décidé de de faire une édition un peu différente cette fois. Peut-être vous l’avez déjà remarqué, mais le 16 novembre il y aura aussi un certain tournoi plutôt mondial. On vous propose donc le programme suivant:

  1. Un stream de la phase finale des mondiaux à Tainan.
    Si nos calculs du décalage horaire sont justes (+ 6h), on devrait pouvoir regarder les gros gros matchs éliminatoires dans la matinée en live, avec la finale qui se déroulera probablement vers midi.
    Pour ceci on a réservé un petit espace convivial, et il y aura un super brunch.

  2. Pour maximiser les sensations fortes et les explosions d’adrénaline pendant le stream, on va organiser des paris sportifs en live!
    Ramenez donc vos plus gros billets et ̶f̶a̶i̶t̶e̶s̶ ̶e̶x̶p̶l̶o̶s̶e̶r̶ ̶l̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶t̶e̶ ̶b̶a̶n̶c̶a̶i̶r̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶ ̶P̶L̶S̶ essayez de gagner plein de thune.
    (A voir encore si ça se déroule vraiment avec de l’argent, ou si on trouve autre chose à miser :wink:)

  3. Finalement, on vous a quand-même promis un tournoi de polo:
    Dans l’après-midi, on bougera au terrain et on pourra prouver nous-même nos skills de polo de niveau galactique!
    On s’imagine un tournois en mode bench, des longs matchs avec des grandes équipes, pour perdre le moins de temps possible. En effet, ça ressemblera peut-être un peu à des pick-ups, mais ben à la fin on veut surtout jouer, non?

We decided to do a slightly different edition this time. Maybe you’ve already noticed, but on November 16 the world chamionship of a really cool sport are happening. We therefore propose the following program:

  1. A stream of the final phase of the World Championship in Tainan. If our time‑difference calculations are correct (+6h), we should be able to watch the big elimination games live in the morning, with the finals probably taking place around noon. For this we reserved a small cozy space, and there will be a great brunch.

  2. To maximize thrills and adrenaline during the stream, we’re going to organize live sports betting! So bring your biggest bills and ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶P̶L̶S̶’s ̶b̶a̶n̶k̶ ̶a̶ ̶b̶l̶a̶s̶t̶ try to win lots of cash. (Still to be decided whether this will actually involve real money, or whether we’ll find something else to bet on :wink:)

  3. Finally, we still promised a polo tournament: In the afternoon we’ll move to the court and show our own galactic-level polo skills! We’re imagining a tournament in bench mode, long games with large teams, to lose as little time as possible. Indeed, it may look a bit like pick‑ups, but in the end we mainly want to play, right?

Meeting point (8-12h):
Rue des Glaciers 16, 1004 Lausanne
Entrance is the blue door in front of the nr 16 (we’ll make une affiche so you find us)

By car: The easiest place to park is near the Pontaise Olympic Stadium, right next to the court.

You can arrive as early as 8 a.m. — coffee will be served as soon as possible. The viewing should end between 11h and 12h, so feel free to come early.:heart_hands:t3:There will be good food but not a bar with beers and stuff. Alors bring what you want :)

There will be betting, so remember to bring cash​:purse::nerd_face:

Once the matches are over, we’ll head to the COURT (about 6 minutes by bike):

We’ll have the lights on, so we can play as long as we want.
