Dear polo people,
We’re happy to invite you to Polo Coolcation 26 - a family-friendly bike polo camp and tournament in the heart of Lithuania’s lake district.
A mid-summer polo escape where weather is never a problem: lights on the court, lake when it’s hot, sauna when it’s not.
Polo Coolcation is designed so that players, families, kids, friends, and organizers can all enjoy the time together - on and off the court.
While polo is happening on the court, there’s plenty to enjoy around it: lakes, nature, short trips, relaxed activities, and space to slow down.
We’ll make sure there are things to do and places to be for everyone - including those coming with kids.
REGISTRATION & FEE
Players
€40 per polo player
What’s included in the fee:
• Full access to the court (day & night, with lights)
• Participation in the polo camp & tournament
• Camping included in the price
• Camping spot by the lake
• Access to showers, WC, drinking water
• Access to a small kitchen at the sports center
• Use of common areas
This is a 5-day event with endless polo and shared facilities.
The fee is meant to keep the camp simple, accessible, and well organized.
Friends & Family (non-playing guests)
• €5 per person (suggested contribution)
• Kids are always free
The contribution helps us plan space, facilities, food, and activities so everyone can enjoy the camp comfortably. Please indicate the number of non-playing guests (including kids) in the registration form.
Player limits
• Maximum: 48 polo players
• Minimum: 33 players (11 teams) required for the tournament to take place
Registration closes: 2026-06-08 (If we have enough registered players, registration will remain open.)
Important notes:
• A minimum of 33 registered players is required for the tournament to take place.
• If this number is not reached, the tournament may not happen and all registered players will be informed in advance.
• After June 8, 2026, registered players will be asked to confirm their participation by paying the tournament fee.

LOCATION
Lithuanian Winter Sports Centre

The venue offers:

• Lake access nearby
• Sauna on site (available on demand, extra fee)
• Camping area next to the court
• Fireplace and shaded areas
• Drinking water
• WC, showers, and a small kitchen at the sports center
• Free parking outside the camping area
• Camper-van parking with electricity available (extra fee)
Ignalina is located in Lithuania’s lake district, surrounded by forests and nature - a relaxed, green setting that fits a summer polo camp perfectly.
Nearby is Visaginas - a town built in the Soviet era to serve a now-closed nuclear power plant.
For those interested, it offers a raw and honest look into Soviet-planned urban life. A short visit is optional, but often leaves a strong impression.

DURATION & SCHEDULE
Arrival & setup
Tuesday-Wednesday, July 8-9
Court boards arrive on Tuesday.
The organizers will set up the court on Wednesday.
Anyone who would like to arrive early and help is very welcome - tools and gloves will be available.
Helpers will receive free tournament registration.
POLO CAMP

Ride hard, take a swim, chill, grill, come back for another game.
TOURNAMENT
Saturday-Sunday
Single-player tournament

10 rounds over two days
12-minute games
Running clock
Time stopped only in the last 2 minutes
A / B / C self-assessment collected during registration
Teams mixed every round
After Saturday’s tournament games, the lights stay on - polo continues until the last player leaves the court.
Semi-finals & finals:
12-minute games
Full stop-clock for the entire match
The format may be slightly adjusted depending on the final number of players.
