The alpha version of CouchBikePolo App is out. An app for tournament organizers, referees and spectators.
Two components as of now:
RefereeApp
TournamentApp
Basically:
- Organizer creates a tournament. Plans the upcoming matches (currently something like challonge should be used in parallel calculate matches).
- Organizer prints QR codes and sticks them to the courts
- Referee goes to court and scans the QR code to assign themselves as referee on that court.
- Spectator can follow on tournament page current matches with live updates as entered by the referee.
This is an alpha version. Expect bugs and errors. Data may be wiped at any time.
Add the website to your phone home screen to make it feel more app-like.

Long term idea finally coming to fruition after a few cancelled iterations.
