I hope that is clear. Goalkeeper shooting a ball straight to the shuffle side of a static offensive player, resulting in a bounce into his own net. Own goal?
Euro rules:

Euro rules:
own goal
But is/was putting a mallet there an action? If so, the last touch of a ball results from an offensive player’s action.
It would be easier for me to ref (I don’t know if it’s more fair) if any ball deflection from an offensive player (except one that is a shot) is not a goal.
I misunderstood.
Teammate: own goal
Opponent:
I think it should be an own goal if the mallet was clearly static. But the way the rules are written currently there seems to be a loophole and this would not be regarded as a goal technically. However I THINK this part of the rule is meant for the scanario: Offensive player takes a shot, it deflects of his teammates “shuffle side” into the opponents goal.
Regarding your post and the ruleset, for me it’s a clear no-goal.
If that’s your teammate, then yes, owngoal.
oh wild! so if i take a shot on the other team’s goal and the goalkeeper hits the ball with the shuffle side of their mallet trying to clear it but it still goes in, that’s not a goal per 5.6.1.1.1?
Nope, see the marked section in the screenshot above. “Offensive player”
oop my bad, i totally read that as defensive player
so it counts if it deflect off an offensive player body ?
if defense scoop the ball into my butt and my butt is not active , does it count
