Registration starts August 18th at 8pm.
Fee will cover toilets mostly (and lunch if you want it).
Since our court was build we’ve organized many tournaments, but not in recent years.
We are very small community and hopefully we could guest you on an event in Lublin.
There will be no prizes or fancy things, just super court and fantastic polo in a good vibes community and beautiful city.

@qavtan Is there any hard limit to registered number of players? Or will it simply cut off at the closest number divisible by three and the rest goes to the waiting list based on the registration date (fisrt come first served)? Any final date for registrations?
We’ve decided to extend the number of players to 42 - this means that we’ll have to be strict with timetable. Like starting at 9am / giving extra points to people on time
We weren’t expected that much people willing to come to Lublin, that’s why we didn’t post the limit at the beginning. (last tournaments and gatherings didn’t bring that much people, this may be the biggest event ever)
48 people would mean that we would have to play from sunrise till sunset and we know that won’t happen in poloverse
Next time well make a tournament on a day with longer sun exposition
I’d like to share some more information regarding the format:
Each player is ranked ABC at the beginning. As half of you declared as B, we had to arbitrarily move some of you up to A and some down to C. Sorry, bike polo.
After each round we will add points (3 for a win, 1 for a tie) and update the ranking so your ABC rank will probably change a few times during the tournament. Apart from points we will also use the following tie-breakers: team goal delta, individual goals scored, individual fouls.
Teams will be shuffled before each round.
We will try to do as many rounds as possible, that is why we will start at 08:30 on both days. The exact number of rounds will be decided on Sunday depending on how smoothly everything goes.
The top 12 players will move on to semifinals where they will be ranked ABC again and shuffled. A win in semifinals will be worth 6 points.
The 6 players who win the semifinals will move on to the final where they will be ranked ABC again and shuffled. A win in the final will be worth 9 points.
The 3 players with the most individual points will reach the podium.
