:page_facing_up: FORMAT :page_facing_up: The tournament is organized like last year in the ABC format, with established teams for the entire weekend. The teams will be drawn by 3City Bike Polo.

:round_pushpin: LOCATION :round_pushpin: : We have a brand new court located 1 km from the pier and the beach stretching through the entire Tri-City. We tried to convince the officials to build the standard size court but the size of the plot has limited it to 16 x 29m. It has professional boards and surface too. There is a rarely used tennis court next to it, so we will also try to provide a side court for warm-ups/pickups.

We will try to provide as many couches as possible for you, just like last year, more info after registration.

For those of you who will already be there on Friday we will be playing some pick-ups till dark.
:star_struck:Afterparties: on Friday and Saturday night we will organize bonfires if weather will be good enough.
:collision:Pick-up court – last but not least – we have enough space to add a small pick-up court, so that your muscle won’t cool down in between the games.

Most likely set up will be the same like last year meaning friday pick-ups, sat and sun tournament.

We will give more details re. court etc. v.soooon, once everything is confirmed

The Baltic Sea is getting warmer, which means the first whistle of Luta Cup is just around the corner. Below you’ll find all the key info you need:

LOCATION📍

ul. Jelitkowski Dwór 2 – Google Maps link

The court is just a few minutes by bike from the beach, close to a Żabka (mini market) and several restaurants. The area is fenced, but the entrance will remain open for safety reasons – so keep an eye on your valuables.

Next to the main court, there’ll also be a smaller pick-up court so you won’t get bored between games.

SCHEDULE⏳

We kick off the tournament on Saturday at 08:00 and continue on Sunday at 09:00. We plan to wrap up around 16:00/17:00 on Sunday.

Shortly before the event, you’ll receive info about your teams and whether you’re playing in the morning or afternoon group. We hope this setup gives you time to enjoy Gdańsk beyond the games!

BIKE CHECK🛠️

Before hitting the court, every player will go through a bike check to make sure your setup meets EHBA regulations – we’ve attached them to this email as a reminder.

Please pay special attention to covering sharp elements and rotor guards. The bike check is there for your own safety.

All players will also need to sign the tournament rules before playing.

WHAT TO BRING🎒

Aside from your bike and usual gear,
bring your own cups, plates, and cutlery for the meals we’ll be preparing. Sunscreen, water, and mosquito repellent will also come in handy.

FOOD🍽️

We’ll serve breakfast on Saturday and both breakfast and lunch (included) on Sunday.

Meals will be vegan, simple, but very tasty! There’s also a nearby shop for extra snacks.

AFTERPARTY

On both days we are planning on organizing bonfire in a nearby park.

REFEREES

Winning teams stay on the court to ref the next match. If you feel confident and want to support us with your reffing skills – we’ll be super grateful!

A heads-up for those coming from outside Poland: drinking alcohol in public spaces is prohibited and may result in a fine. This includes any drink with even 0.01% alcohol.
