A beginners-only, mixte bench tournament

Coaches,
Begin recruiting your players now!
-Eligible players have polo birthdates after August 2021.

  • Teams must be mixte with 4-6 players (16 teams maximum)
  • Each team must have a coach (not a player)
    BBP is proud to offer:
    -Pick-ups friday
    -Round robin Saturday
    -Single elim Sunday
    -Breakfast/lunch sat. & Sun.
    -Housing for the teams that register first.
    Registration:
    Starts december 1st 2021
    Stops september 21st 2022
    Price = 25 euros / player and FREE for Coaches.

    Conditions pour participer :
  • Avoir commencĂ© le bike polo aprĂšs AOUT 2021
  • Chaque Ă©quipe doit avoir son ou sa coach (qui ne sera pas un.e joueur ou joueuse)
    Le format du tournoi :
  • Pick up du Vendredi
  • Round Robin le Samedi
  • Simple Ă©limination le Dimanche
    Accueil du club :
  • Petits dĂ©jeuners et DĂ©jeuners compris le Samedi et le Dimanche
  • Les Ă©quipes hĂ©bergĂ©es chez les membres de BBP (dans la limite des places disponibles, mais on va assurer autant que possible)
    Inscription :
    S’ouvre le 15 dĂ©cembre 2021 et se termine le 21 septembre 2021.
    Prix = 25 euros / joueur-joueuse et GRATUIT pour les COACHES.

Both Pamplona bike polo as well as interested parties in London bike polo have asked for flexibility for some of their beginners which have played very little polo but started before august 2021.

In response Bordeaux Bike Polo has decided to change the eligibility for the tournament.
Any player with a polo birth-date after 2019 will be eligible to play.

Bordeaux has some really tough players that qualify. Bring your best.

yo LPC coming full force and confirming the final amount of players soon.

so far we have one team for sure maybe a second one :flexed_biceps:

what are the housing options so far ? we could be a solid 10 to 12 fierce english folks swarming the streets of bordeaux

but as much as we can, we host players in our homes

and we’ll have ONE team from Bordeaux too.

Le format du tournoi va ĂȘtre modifiĂ© :

  • Joueurs ayant dĂ©butĂ© APRÈS COVID

  • Team de 3 joueurs (mixitĂ© fortement recommandĂ©e !!)

  • Team par ville. Si il manque des joueurs, on peut s’arranger.

  • La prĂ©sence d’un coach n’est pas obligatoire mais elle est possible. Le coach verra ses frais de tournoi offerts !

  • Le tournoi aura lieu mĂȘme si les 12 teams ne sont pas atteintes ! On est lĂ  pour donner du temps de jeu Ă  nos Newbies chĂ©ris !

The format will change :

  • Post-Covid players ONLY

  • Team of 3 players (mixed teams recommanded)

  • Team created by cities. If you miss players, we can solve it !

  • The coach is not an obligation but if there is one, his tournament’s fees are offered.

  • The tournament will take place even if there is less of 12 teams. We only want to give playing time to our Newbies !

au fait la famille ont va pas pouvoir s adapter a vos changements de regles / format

mes joueurs seront dans ce cas la , la plupart ont jamais fait de tournoi et certains ont fait un ou deux tournoi locaux abc mais rien de fou.

ils seront 5 ou 6 et esperent jouer ensemble ce fameux format bench que je leur chante en serenade depuis des mois et auxquels ont s est familiarisé.

jcomprends pour le changement de format si ya changement de courts / pas assez de joueurs mais je peux pas vraiment leurs dire d annuler leurs billets etc si ils ont pas commencé apres covid ( dailleurs jen ai pas a vous envoyer si c le cas)
