We have 4 local teams in the list (we are finalising the compositions of some of them).
To ensure 12min matches and plenty of them for everyone as we follow the fantastic Graz tournament format this means we can only accommodate up to a maximum of 14 teams.
With exactly 14 Teams in total, that means no lottery required, everyone is in, awesome!
Format
We will use the great Graz system, which means there will be two groups of 7 teams each playing Round Robin on Saturday: AM & PM so you can explore the city or hang around watching how the fun rules play out (get in touch asap if you have a valid reason to be in the pm group), then Sunday 3 smaller and more balanced groups will battle to get into the final top 6 or 8 single elim to wrap it up around 19:00-19::30.
Registration Fee
The reg fee will be 15eur per person (45 per team), if you can pay in advance that would be appreciated: bank transfer to Alena Borotova LT80 3250 0260 1105 6036, or in cash at the court but bring the exact amount because we may not have change (not eurozone here).
Food
Included in registration fee will be breakfast and lunch freshly cooked at the court both days on Saturday and Sunday!
We will propose BBQ in the evenings, thinking the easiest would be to propose a fixed price and you can just help yourself whatever you fancy (there will be veggies, vegan burgers, sausages, camembert…)
Cold beer on draft, non-alco beer bottles and soft drinks will be available at the court for a small fee.
At the court you can pay in euros (in cash) so bring that spare change jar!, but unfortunately not anywhere else.
There are some supermarkets (here and here) fairly close to the court which are opened the whole weekend. We have dishes at the court but if you bring your own it’ll make our lives easier.
Getting there
Here is the full address of the court:
Prague Bike Polo
Perlitová 1834/29
140 00 Praha 4
Cycling
fyi googlemap does not allow cycling route planning , instead use Mapy.cz, be careful some calculated route can be quite intimidating as taking you on big street looking like highways (especially in front of the train station so check for more bike friendly paths)
Prague is quite hilly, to come to the court the easiest way is to ride along the river (there are bike paths) and go up the hill on Jeremkova street.
Public Transport
Worth knowing that you can take your bike without surcharge in the metro
Metro C Budějovická station is 5min from the court.
Parking
Parking is free in the area between Friday 8 pm to Monday 8 am. I’d recommend Perlitova street which is adjacent to the court but it’s one way so drive around the block to park there. There is a parking lot at the court (part of the sport centre) which is free for 15min to drop things off if that helps.

Btw we have a lockable polo house at the court so it will be possible to store your polo stuff overnight if needed.
Get in touch if you have any questions!
