It was great to see you all during this beautiful weekend in Prague, we are very glad that everyone had a good time and seemed to have enjoyed our fun format! Thank you again for coming !!

Our permanent court is a great setup but it is quite tight so instead of trying to do a traditional tournament, we thought of binging something different and fun with these silly rules.

Following some brainstorming, we were mindful to select and refine these rules to keep them fair and enjoyable for both experienced and newbie players alike. What we ended up with is a mix of rules with some involving more luck with an element of strategy (red cards or dice) while some others that are more skill based (goals in the corners or 2 balls) and some with a bit of both (strategy and skills: legalise it!).

So please let us know how was your experience through this very short anonymous survey to help us improve or change things for next year!

Who lost their light, water bottle and jacket ??
Let us know asap we have players going to Dresden this weekend.

Stats from the 67games played and survey results are in !
PoloBranik 2024 - Silly rules played (natural split_ 1_8=12.5%)
PoloBranik 2024 - Silly rules Preferred and Disliked as of players voted)
PoloBranik 2024 - Would you like to see this silly rules concept again next year_

Some could be quick to point out some oddities such as 2 Birds 1 Stone (one timers worth 2pts), a strong favorite of the players, (un)surprisingly toping the frequency of plays and that the not so favorite Let the pro (Pluk) rule was one of the least played… but that would be wild conspiratorial thinking. We trust the fairness of our wheel of fortune and we are thrilled to see that over three quarters of respondents seemed to have enjoyed our fun format and are in favor of this returning next year!
We will take note of your comments and keep experimenting at the pololab to prepare you an even better formula for next time!
