I was thinking it might be cool to have a place for product reviews on this site. I’m imagining a category where there is a thread for each piece of equipment (e.g. “Brakes”, “Mallet grips”,…). Then in each thread, users can make a post for any specific model they have used and what they think of it (e.g. “Sram DB8 - solid performance for the money, might need tuning pads blablabla”)
This way we could gather information in acentralized place instead of making it up from scratch every time someone wants to upgrade their stuff
What do people think of this, is there a need for something like that?

Seems like it would be a very niche category. Maybe a specific tag for product reviews works as well?
