Neues Jahr, neuer Modus
Beim Ramba Zamba geht es vor allem darum Spaß mit seinen Freunden auf und abseits des Platzes zu haben. Deswegen und damit auch all diejenigen, die kein Polo spielen Spaß haben, wird es dieses Jahr, neben ganz viel Polo, spaßbringende Aktivitäten und Spiele, musikalische Begleitung, eine self-help Werkstatt mit lieber Unterstützung, natürlich eine Bar, den besten Kaffee weit und breit und hoffentlich einen vollen Dancefloor geben.
Gespielt wird im Singleplayer-Modus mit 48 Personen. Punkte sammelt jede Spieler*in pro Spiel als Einzelperson, weitere Punkte können bei den verschiedenen Aktivitäten rund um den Court gesammelt werden. Die Teams werden geshuffled, mit der Besonderheit, dass sich zwei Teams, die gerne einmal gegeneinander spielen wollen, dies auch tun können. So könnt ihr an einem Wochenende mit all den Menschen spielen, mit denen ihr schon immer spielen wolltet Für alle, die nur 1 oder 2 Spiele spielen möchten, gibt es Gästeslots.
Am Sonntag gibt es noch eine Gruppenrunde und im Anschluss eine Single Elimination. Alle Spieler*innen werden hierfür, durch ein ausgeklügeltes mathematisches System so in Teams aufgeteilt, dass diese ungefähr gleich stark sind.
Wie jedes Jahr ist Zelten direkt am Court möglich. Der Parkplatz ist außerhalb des Geländes, aber keine Minute entfernt. Wem der Trubel rund um den Platz zu wild ist, kann auch auf einem der Campingplätze, Maaraue und Bleiaue, direkt in der Nähe zelten. Toiletten und Duschen gibt es auf dem Gelände. Diese sind allerdings nur bis Sonntagnachmittag geöffnet.
Morgens gibt es Frühstück. Außerdem haben wir einen Grill, auf dem nach Belieben gegrillt werden kann. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Imbisse und ein Kiosk sind in umittelbarer Nähe. Kühlmöglichkeiten für Einkäufe stellen wir zur Verfügung.
Und damit auch jeder irgendwann ein bisschen schlafen kann, wird die Musik um 1.00 Uhr ganz leise gestellt

New Year, New Format
Ramba Zamba is all about having fun with your friends on and off the court. For that reason, and so that even those who don’t play polo can have a great time, this year, in addition to loads of great polo, there will be plenty of fun activities and games, musical entertainment, a self-help bike repair station with friendly support, of course a bar, the best coffee far and wide, and hopefully a packed dance floor.
The tournament will be played in single-player mode with 48 participants. Each player collects points individually per game, and additional points can be earned through the various activities around the court. Teams will be shuffled, with the special feature that two teams who would like to play against each other can make that happen. This way, over one weekend, you can play with all the people you’ve always wanted to play with. For those of you who only want to play a game or two, there will be guest slots throughout the weekend where you can jump in.
On Sunday, there will be another group round followed by a single-elimination round. For this, all players will be assigned to teams using a sophisticated mathematical system to ensure the teams are approximately equal in strength.
As every year, camping directly at the court is possible. The parking lot is outside the grounds but less than a minute away. If the hustle and bustle around the court is too much, you can also camp at one of the nearby campsites, Maaraue or Bleiaue. Toilets and showers are available on site, but only until Sunday afternoon.
Breakfast will be provided in the mornings. We also have a grill available for everyone to use as they like. Grocery stores, restaurants, kebap, pizza and a kiosk are in the immediate vincinity. We will provide refrigeration for your groceries.
And because we want everyone to be able to get some sleep, the music will be turned to a minimum at 1.00 a.m.
