Yes , I uploaded the mosi bike polo geo on bike insight .
This is the bike shown in picture:
Some details about the geometry , I wanted the bike to be as short as possible , the frame is designed around the max power 26/27.5 fork , I wanted a bike that handles good at low speed so in order to have a relatively good trail I had to make a really steep fork angle, consequently to not make the frame too long for me I had to make also seat tube very steep. In this part I was well supported by some people brainstorming that helped me out on this specific details @Bouchaaaaard @Mega_shuffle
Why would I go for max power fork to build a new frame you may question, well I really like the aesthetic and solidity of the product , I do fancy bike that are modern in a relatively retro look , so oversized modern tubes are not my favourite cup of tea.
Also conic steerer in my opinion is really overlooked in bike polo, the is zero reason to use it beside some supposed “different feeling” , I see it as just adding more weight for no reason.
I didn’t go for max power frame cause I wanted a steel frame and I believed it’s geometry could have been tweaked a bit.
The tubes set we used for this mosi frame is Columbus Thron , a low-mid tier double butted oversize MTB tube from the 90s , early 2000.
We choosed that based on the fact that those are very easy to weld , they resist the over heating pretty good and my frame builder is not so experienced so ye we thought this is the best choice.
So overall I must say I’m pretty happy with all the choice I made , the bike has a fantastic handling , it’s pretty light (around 9kg) , and to me is super stylish, I’m also pretty proud of myself designing this product without any prior experience in this.
I hope this is readable , if you have further question send me a private message
I forgot to add, I’m 1.75mm with long arm and long legs (actually one way longer than the other , but that’s another story)
Also I’ll upload some more picture within some time
