GVA don’t have serious court option this year (we “lost” Aire La Ville) but we can be part of an organisation taskforce

The double court at Avenches would be magnificent. I know the club is very active, the courts are often occupied; however, the roller hockey championship takes a long break during the summer (two months) if I’m not mistaken. If we want to use an “official” pitch, we should take advantage of this opportunity. For the courts in Avenches, we should contact the club and highlight our various tournaments held on similar courts and their successes. Having two fields for the Swiss Championships would be crazy

In Lausanne we have decided that we cannot and do not want to host the swiss champs this year. The reasons are quite diverse, but I guess the main argument is the lack of humanpower, time and capacity as we are still a very small club and some of our comitee members are travelling this year. Also, we co-organized 2 years ago 
We’ve decided to put our energy into our first 2-day-tournament in august, and that we want it to be an open mixed tournament to invite as well our local as our friends from abroad. Also, it would be too busy moment of the polo year to add swiss champs there (Margarita, Berlin, Lac’roche, etc. is all around then).
In addition to that we’ll host again a 1-day Ligue Alpine in May with the aim to show off with our many and extremely strong newbies, so be aware! 
I guess that we could be part of a taskforce next year to host something big, but this is probably a next year’s (or later this year’s) topic.
We hope that this is alright for you and are looking forward to hear the views of your clubs too

GVP is willing to help organize the champs but we don’t have proper court at our disposal since “our” Air La Ville court is not available at least for the next two years.
