Location: Bern, Marzili

Format: Quad (4 players /team), no gender diverstiy required, Round Robin, 10 teams maximum, games from 9 to 19
Priority is given to Swiss clubs

We will offer Breakfast.
Grill available all day long.
Soft drinks, beers, tea, coffee available on donation

Registration fee : 20.- /team

As no qualifier is required for Switzerland for next European Champioships in Perpignan, we are happy to confirm the Swiss League event in Bern.

same format like round robin ? or a small tournament ?

round robin 8 teams (20min game+break per game) is too long i think, like 9hours without a break.
Maybe Swiss round (4 round) + single elim, around 7:40 without break

Or juste swiss round 5 rounds, it’s around 7h.

I think we will go swiss rounds for 5 to 6 rounds, (16 minutes games), in my opinion no need for an elim.

As Tomas forgot he was going abroad for vacations tomorrow, we’re looking for a fourth player, otherwise we will play the three of us (Cody, Val & me).

'sub" from Bern’s team means no player at the moment?

Can we imagine split the two player of this team (if they agree) into teams that have a TBA (if they agree) to make it a 8 teams tourney?

That’s true that odd numbers is an issue when you don’t do a round robin, as you gonna gets teams that don’t player the same number of games.

Can you post the first round Tonite? It could help us set up the alarm clock for the car ride

Ok. ETA 9h00 (if all goes perfectly), it will be hard to play the first game without any delay. If you can find two teams to play it it will be perfect.
