just print this chart 100% and measure both hands (they might be different, stick to the bigger one)
good luck!
I played a little bit of lacrosse(lax); for lax gloves price point is pretty correlated to dexterity and maybe quality of materials. For sizing the smallest that you can fit in is best tighter fit means more control, material bunching up at the end is bad.
I know the surgeons are the most popular lax gloves right now lightweight really high dexterity but an eye watering $180 USD price point makes them rare to see in NA. In the USA we have the luxury of buying lightly used mid-priced ones on ebay for a pretty good discount.
I learned a thin layer of tent sealant (aquaseal-FD) on high-wear spots when you first get them will increase longevity significantly shout out to Jimmy from SLC.
Ok last thing my hottest take on gloves: lacrosse gloves are way overkill for our sport. Most nitrile dipped work gloves will provide the abrasion resistance for scraping on any wall and lesser padded gloves (ex. motocross or field hockey) provide adequate protection from incidental hits from mallets ball handlebars. On the other hand lacrosse gloves, look hyper masculine and cool, they are gender affirming care. There’s nothing wrong with that but an aesthetic choice rather than a functional one, just my opinion.
If you go down for a raclette to stop a really big shot, you don’t want to wear regular working gloves. I happily use lacrosse gloves - some of them have net-like inserts on the palm side, i would avoid these.
