What is this, and how does it work?

Seems like some form of tracking scores and matching teams:

I’ve never seen this, but sherlocking it I’d guess that each hexagon represents one team, each segment of the hexagon is one game where you note, from the outside in: opposing team, goals scored, goals conceded. (The last 2 might be swapped)

Check out the card 5 and 3, they both have a game 3vs5 on them with the score 4:2 (or 2:4?)

You can play a round robin with 7 teams using this, or any other format where a team plays 6 (or less) games
For more rounds just use bigger n-gons

Not sure what the letters in the corners are, maybe it encodes a game plan, no idea how it works, but in the picture all the letters are oriented the same way but the filled in ganes are not aligned.

What club uses this? Would be neat to know how it works!

Looks very stylish for sure!

it’s like chess-boxing except you play Settlers of Catan between games of polo.

I’ve always wanted to do a chess-knife-fighting event!
but I’d sign up for a settlers-of-catan-2v2-polo tournament
