hey polo/loco/folks,
this might sound like an off-topic, but we want to invite you to one, bike-oriented initiative that will take place during berlin:mixed this year. apologizes for a long message. 
as some of you might know, my partner had fulfilled her long-time goal/dream of releasing their own calendar for 2024. they are keen traditional films photographer and also really eager cyclist (former messenger, currently keen polo newbie). this calendar included partially naked photos of polish community of all cycling freaks, although mainly focused on messengers. I attached some shots from various months, so you can see it yourself.
this year they’re aiming higher and I am here to help them with this. We want to reach the whole European community of enthusiasts, cycling freaks - you call it. There are already some photo shoots already arranged in France, Austria, Poland and we are just closing the deal with some Italians. 
And most important we don’t limit the calendar to messengers only - we want to include much broader spectrum of bike hotheads: to start with bikepackers through fixed gear riders and most importantly POLO PLAYERS!
Caro is highly sensitive and empathetic person, who really knows how to create and care about nice and safe atmosphere at photo shooting. Doesn’t matter if you are frequent guest of FKK beaches and feel perfectly fine with your body, or that could be your debut in front of the lens. She will take care of you and your comfort!
As I am playing this year’s mixed again (YAY!), we wanted to ask if there are potentially any interested in the project. We come together and we (or Caro) will work around your (gaming) schedule to have some good time with camera and you. As the previous calendar sold in over 100 pieces, this year’s list of registered people is already really satisfyingly long! Therefore, every month will be covered by two group (2-5 people) photos of different friends/cities/communities etc. We invite everyone - people of every gender, race (please know those are only examples, no discrimination is guaranteed) is more than welcome!
If that sounds like “yeah, cool, i’m one of those freaks, why don’t I know about it just yet?!”, please fill the google registration form till 1st of April. I already visualise grouping some teams or players together, damn, so hot!

If you haven’t paid yet, DO IT. I’m sending a reminder e-mail with the info, ask your team mates and friends TO LOOK AT THEIR INBOX! Look also at your spambox for messages from mixed@berlin-bikepolo.de.
If you paid, but didn’t get a confirmation e-mail, talk to me privately.

Bike checks 
Hii everyone!! I am Gabi, player from Berlin! 
I am checking your bikes on Friday to garantee safety and fun for everybody.
Please, if you’re playing in the morning, arrive at the tournament with enough time for the bike check! Many players play in the morning and it’s not possible to check all the bikes at the same time. 
If you’re playing in the afternoon, wait in the line. :)
Also, you can make the process smoothly and faster if you already check your bike by yourself! How to do this? Following the official rules of EHBA: Section 1: Teams, Players & Equipment | EHBA Official Ruleset

I booked an AirBNB for Friday-Saturday, Saturday-Sunday.
Total cost is about 240€.
The flat is about 3km from the courts and comes with the company of two cats.
There is a bed that can fit two + a couch for one person.
One more person could bring an iso mattress and sleep on the floor.
