Make sure your equipment is safe for polo (malletshafts and handlebars are capped, no exposed chain rings, loose spokes are secured, etc). There will be a bike check.

I just checked and it is possible to change results of former games in challonge - so missing games can be played when missing players arrive…

Hm, how would this work in Swiss Rounds? Matches are calculated on current standing. So skipping games and playing them later does not really work?
It would not be correct till they are there, not perfect and a bit improvised… so it’s not ideal but better than round robin…
I am looking forward. I know some people have not been that keen on staying overnight, but mostly due to worse weather some time ago. but the sun is up again, so hopefully it will be like that for another week, yay!

We start around 10 I would say. No groups because we don’t have that many teams
So here my game plan suggestion:
Saturday 10:00-20:00 Swiss Rounds
- 12 min. games
- We play with instant mix
- 5-6 Rounds (6 should be possible); [6 games per round]
Sunday 09:00-18:30
- 1 more round
- Double elim with 11 Teams (looks actually fun)
We could play 2 Rounds on sunday but than it is going to be late again. We could play more rounds if we play 10 Minutes but i would prefer 12 Minutes with stopping.
First round will be reggae knights against instant mix, and if max isn’t there till we play anoher round there will be a small bias in the ranking. I think this won’t be too bad or won’t change that much in the whole game.

I dont understand the group stage. Every team plays each other? Or just 6 rounds? If so would be quite difficult that every team has equal good opponents. And won’t be there a long waiting time between the games you play (like 2h+)?
Why not making two groups with 6 teams and every team has 5 games. And then longer swiss round and Double elimination as you suggested.

6 rounds. And you play the closest to your ranking you haven’t played yet. I don’t like round robin. That’s why Swiss rounds are my suggestion but only works with a big group
