Let’s talk about club representatives for 2025, current rep list :

  • Bex: Joel
  • Zurich: Miguel
  • Basel: Lukas
  • St Gallen: Bassil
  • Bern: Emmet
  • Lausanne: Mario
  • Genf: Quentin

Can we set a date for the updated rep list ? Early January 2025 ?
In GVP we plan to talk about it in the next weeks.

Subjects that needs to be adressed that i personally have in mind now :

  • Format for swiss champs 2025 (St Gall, september 2025)
    Team size (3v3, 4v4)
    Mixed mandatory ?
  • Format for EURO selection 2025
    Dates and city ?
    Team size (3v3, 4v4)
    Mixed mandatory ?

Sorry to barge in.
Worlds will be quads (4v4)
Euros will also be quads.

In St. Gallen we plan to play 4 vs. 4 and “mixed” is not mandatory.

Till today, there are 34 people who voted. Thanks for that to everyone! And special thanks to @coolquentin for sharing. We still wait a bit, that all of you can fill out this google docs.

Hey peops
We’ve heard rumors about Euros happening maybe in early July in Perpignan - can somebody confirm that this could be a thing?
If this is the case, we need to talk about the qualification.

As we were planning to announce a first edition of the swiss league in the Lausanne region soon, we finally thought that we could transform this tournament into euro qualifiers instead.
It would then be probably a 2-day tournament, maybe a round robin without elimination phase, and with the team requirements as the euros (4v4).
Mixity would be again the big question to discuss… Maybe a compromise? First 2 overall teams go to the euros followed by the 2 best mixed teams?

Timing for the tournament would be probably in May or June.

If we don’t organise any qualification tournament, do we just use the ranking if last year’s swiss champs and hope that these teams still exist?

We are in talks with Perpignan. They could potentially do it, but in a similar scheme to Berlin’s last minute euros: “we build it, you run it”.
Early July. I’ll talk to @Tristewn to confirm.
